Nostalgia of Cassiopeia (2012)

This oil painting is done by mixing oil color with turpentine and painted with my fingers. As a KPOP fan of one of the biggest Korean boy band in the Korean entertainment history, called TVXQ, I was devastated knowing that the 5 members had some argument and 3 members left the band. TVXQ fans are always known as Cassiopeia because the 5 members always arrange themselves in a "W" shape, like Cassiopeia Constellation. This painting is done to mourn about the split of the band. This painting is exhibited in 12 hearts and souls exhibition in 2018.
